Case Study

2. I think its a great idea for teachers to share their ideas. Especially teachers who are ever in Mr. Bustler's case. Also, teachers who have been in the field a long time and would like some new, fresh ideas. Not everyone is tech savvy. The things they learned in school may have changed since they left. To get ideas from young minds and try to make their classes more interesting for their students.

3. My concentration is Elementary Education. To think of ways to incorporate technology for children between the ages of 5-9 seems a little difficult. However I don't think I give children of the new millennium the credit they deserve. A couple things I can think of would be to go to interactive web sites like the map of the USA and find the state they live in and then find where the city is in that state. Learn how to find their house on a map. Another might be to use a paint program and have them draw a place that is special to them or their favorite thing to do. Some programs you can buy in CD/DVD that allows children to answer basic questions about colors and shapes as well as helping them read. To learn about musical instruments and animals while being able to hear the sounds they make. I'm sure as I continue my courses through the years I will learn more options and in the future maybe end up at one of those sessions to get some fresh ideas.
